Journal of Microfinance closed

ESR Review says that they have closed the academic Journal of Microfinance because they want to have a more practical profile. This will be accomplished with their ESR Review, they say, which is bi-weekly. That leaves an empty spot in the market for academic journals on microfinance if anyone is interested

Presentation in Benin

Last Thursday I did a presentation on my very priliminary findings on the microfinance sector in Benin at the Danish Embassy in Benin. I have uploaded the slides I used (in PDF and French). I would like to thank all the participants who showed up at contributed to the discussion afterwards, especially the many from the sector, and to the Embassy for hosting the event.
