My research interests include:
- impact methodologies in microfinance
- microsavings
- social and financial performance of microfinance institutions

Previous experience
I have worked with microfinance in Thailand and Denmark through my company, Inclusive Finance Advice, taught the class “Poverty and Business – the case of microfinance” and University of Copenhagen, and done research

While doing my thesis I did some freelance journalism on microfinance, but also on a range of other issues (like the game of go, evolution and more). For example, I wrote on the issue in DJØF-bladet and did a documentary supported by the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (through DANIDA), together with my then girlfriend, now wife, Stine.

Previously I have worked part time at Consia Consultants begin_of_the_skype_highlighting     end_of_the_skype_highlighting, as an editor at the academic journal Politologiske Studier (now Tidsskriftet Politik) and been a part of – amongst other things – Lydkoret WHOP , Vokalkompagniet and International Debat.
